The Southington Police Department said it has received confirmation from the Office of the Medical Examiner that positive identification has been made on the two people found dead in a home last month.
Police said the female was identified as Mildred Gillan, 86, and the man was identified as her son, William, 60.
Both lived at the Cedar Drive home.
According to the ME, Mildred's death was ruled as natural, but the has not been official confirmation on the cause of William's death.
