ASU softball sweeps Thomas JV

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Albany State outfielder Domonique Bryant delivered a big bases loaded double to lift the Lady Rams to a 4-3 win over Thomas University's Junior Varsity in the season opener.

Bryant's double brought cheers from her teammates after the former Westover star missed last season with a knee injury.

Albany State won game two over Thomas JV 6-3.

Lady Rams host Georgia Southwestern at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday.
