LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – The Filson Historical Society will hold their 8th annual Blues Night, Friday, February 15th, at the historic Ferguson Mansion. The 10th Street Blues Band will be there as part of the focus on Black History Month.
Blues is a strong aspect of Louisville's musical history. Local blues legends, Sylvester Weaver and Sara Martin both called our River City home. The 10th Street Blues Band have been playing together for more than 10 years and will entertain you with 50's and 60's style music at the annual event.
Wine, beer, soft drinks and light refreshments will be served. Doors open at 7:00pm and music will begin at 7:30pm. Cost of this event will be $20. Reservations are required, so call The Filson at (502) 635-5083 or visit filsonhistorical.org to make reservation.
