3 charged after sex offender registry check

SELLERSBURG, IN (WAVE) - A sex offender registry check by Indiana State Police netted three arrests in Scottsburg.

Troopers visited the Main Street apartment of James Mullins after they said Mullins failed to register as a sex offender.

Inside Mullins' apartment they found drug paraphernalia.

Police also arrested two other people inside the apartment, Robert Northern and Diane Sturgeon.
