House of Hope
House of Hope Kentucky is a family-style transitional care home for women in recovery from narcotics. It has a formal living room, formal dining room, a kitchen where the women share meal preparation and chores, and a patio with a fenced in backyard. The house has 8 private bedrooms with a private bath for each room, affording each woman privacy and the responsibility of maintaining a sanitary and neat living space.
The residents of the House are required to be in treatment and in the process of becoming employed and ready for independent living. Some of them hold jobs during their stay at the House. When they have developed a healthy, solid set of life skills, coupled with the ability to maintain sobriety, they prepare to transition to independent living.
