Over 300 Eagle Scouts and community leaders honored

More than 300 Eagle Scouts were honored in Cincinnati on Saturday.

The 42nd annual award ceremony for The Dan Beard Council and the Boy Scouts of America was held at the Masonic Center on Saturday.

The ceremony honored Eagle Scouts as well as community leaders in the area. The Council recognized William Motto the founder of Meridian Bio-Science, and 367 young men who earned the Eagle Scout Award this year.

The Boy Scouts of America say that Eagle Scouts have grown into some of the most successful business and civic leaders today. Notable Eagle Scouts include Neil Armstrong and Michael Bloomberg.
