LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - The Louisville Arena Authority met Monday to discuss the KFC Yum! Center and its recent finances.
In their February meeting, the Louisville Arena Authority said they are pleased with where they are going, adding in December they had a net profit of $493,000, which brings the year to date to $845,000.
The arena also ranked well in a concert based magazine, PollStar. Dennis Petrullo with the Arena Authority said, "PollStar is a concert magazine that everyone in the business reports their ticket sales, sales of other events minus sporting events to. The center ranked 65th in the world and 31st in the United States and you're competing against markets as Madison Square Gardens, Chicago and others."
Petrullo said they have booked some great concerts this summer and although he could not comment yet on who will be performing, they will bring in steady revenue.
