On the first day of official spring training, the Reds announced they have agreed to a two-year contract with starting pitcher Mat Latos.
The deal is worth a total of $11.5 million. Latos will earn $4.25 million in 2013 and $7.25 million in 2014. Latos made $550,000 last season.
Latos won 14 games his first season with the Reds and finished with a 3.48 ERA.
The deal means pitcher Homer Bailey remains the only player on the roster still arbitration eligible.
Pitchers and catchers reported to camp on Tuesday. The full squad is due in camp on Friday.
