TEMPE, AZ (CBS5) -
Tempe police have arrested a man they were seeking in connection with a pair of Tempe pharmacy robberies.
Angelo Moreno, 23, of Phoenix, was arrested Friday night at a home in Phoenix, police said.
Moreno is suspected of making threats and demanding prescription medications after walking into a CVS Pharmacy at 1424 W. Baseline Rd. about 4 p.m. Feb. 4.
Police said Moreno is suspected of passing a handwritten note to pharmacy employees demanding medications and when they refused, he climbed over the counter until a pharmacist complied, police said. He fled on foot.
On Friday morning, the suspect made similar threats at a Walgreens pharmacy at 925 W. Baseline Rd. He also left on foot after acquiring the pills, police said.
No one was hurt in either robbery.
A police spokesman said Moreno was cooperating in the investigation.
