LEXINGTON, KY (WAVE) - When a Kentucky man passed away his family decided to carry on his last wish - to give out $500 tips to unsuspecting waiters.
Now, that wish has taken on a life of its own.
Aaron Collin's died three weeks before his 31st birthday. Since his death his brother, Seth Collins, has been setting up trips to give big tips to servers. He is planning to hit the road for one year with a goal to give two $500 tips in every state.
"I have enough money for 100 tips, I want to give it away as many places as possible and I need funding to facilitate that," Seth Collins explained.
He set up an Indie-Go-Go campaign to pay for his travels which will begin on Aaron Collin's birthday, July 15.
