A Milford man died Tuesday after being hit by a snowplow truck Monday morning.
According to police, a family of four from Milford was walking across Bridgeport Avenue near Cowles Street when the truck crashed into them at 11:19 a.m.
Kevin Tanski, 53, was taken to an area hospital and died Tuesday from injuries he suffered in the crash.
Brenda Tanski, 51, was also taken to an area hospital and remains in critical condition.
Jenny Tanski, 21, was taken to the hospital Monday, but has since been released.
A fourth family member was not seriously injured in the crash.
The driver of the plow truck James Dorso, 31, was not seriously injured during the crash.
The Milford Police Department is still investigating the crash and no charges have been filed at this time.
Anyone with any information about the crash should call police at 203-783-4749.
Police are advising residents to avoid walking in the streets because of the weather conditions and large snow piles.
Pedestrians should walk against the direction of traffic because that way walkers can see oncoming traffic. When walking, people should stay close to the edge of the roadway, police said.
