More charges against woman in wallet theft case

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Additional charges have been filed for one of the sisters accused of stealing wallets right out of purses at local doctor's offices.

Police say Lashonda Jefferson ransacked a room at Norton Brownsboro Hospital. She stole another wallet and used credit cards she found in it to buy nearly $1,500 worth of goods.

According to police, Jefferson was caught on surveillance cameras and admitted to the crime.
