CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -
The Cincinnati Horseshoe Casino announced a preview night for invited guests, an event actually required by law.
The purpose of the preview is to show the 'operational readiness' of the casino, required by the Ohio Casino Control Commission, who also issued a gaming license to the casino on Wednesday.
Thousands of family, friends and business partners are invited to the event, scheduled for February 27th.
"I am confident our Horseshoe team will provide an
outstanding customer experience," said Kevin Kline, Horseshoe Cincinnati senior
vice president and general manager. "This first look will allow our team
members to showcase their talents on the gaming floor, and the proceeds from
the event will greatly benefit local charities."
Attendees will be able to play more than 2,000 slot machines and 85 table games, as well as dine at Jack
Binion's Steak, Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville, Bobby's Burger Palace by
celebrity chef Bobby's Flay and The Spread Buffet.
All of the proceeds from the night will be donated to four local non-profits.
The public grand opening is scheduled for March 4th.
