New Albany home badly damaged by fire

Firefighters were called to the two-story home at 1:49 p.m.

The second floor of the home sustained the worst damage.

The fire happened in the 1800 block of Cliffwood Drive

NEW ALBANY, IN (WAVE) – A New Albany home was badly damaged by fire Thursday afternoon.

Firefighters were called to the two-story home in the 1800 block of Cliffwood Drive at 1:49 p.m. Two fire companies are located nearby, so firefighters were able to respond to the home within three minutes of the call.

There was no immediate report of injuries.
