Worth County has hired Camden County assistant coach Jason Tone to be the Rams new head football coach.
The school board approved the recommendation after meeting in executive session Thursday night.
Jason Tone played his high school football under former Worth County head coach Milt Miller at Lowndes High.
He has spent most of his coaching career at Camden County but was the offensive coordinator for one season at Wayne County.
Worth County has been to the state playoffs for the last four seasons but has had just one winning record in that span.
Jason Tone succeeds Scotty Ward who resigned last month.
