Fight over UofL game leads to arrest

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - When it comes to sports most of us can agree it can get a little intense for players and fans. But police say one Louisville woman took it too far.

Hazel Cottrell is facing charges after officers say she got into a fight with her boyfriend over last night's University of Louisville basketball game.

Officers were called to Cedar Street just after 11 p.m. Thursday.

Cottrell is charged with assault. The arrest report states she threw an ashtray at her boyfriend.
