Cincinnati Dance Marathon raises over $30 thousand

After 24-hours of non-stop dancing, the fifth annual Cincinnati Dance Marathon has come to an end.

Students began dancing on Saturday around noon to raise money for the Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center. The party ended at noon on Sunday.

University of Cincinnati student organizers hosted the event in the University's Recreation Center. The event was open to the UC community and to the public. Participants were asked to give a small donation.

This year's dance marathon raised over $30 thousand. More than $100 thousand has been raised by the UC community over the past five years for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.
