SAINT MATTHEWS, KY (WAVE) - A Shelby County man was arrested after a traffic stop in St. Matthews, but the charges he is facing area not just for how he was driving.
Officers arrested Victor Fallis, 29, of Shelbyville, for operating a vehicle while intoxicated, but it's what officers found in his car that has him facing more charges.
"He had several vials of what they refer to as synthetic marijuana or synthetic cannibas in his car," said Sgt. Tony Ford of the St. Matthews Police Department, "enough to constitute that he was probably trafficking in the substance."
Synthetic marijuana has been illegal in Kentucky since 2010. In addition, St. Matthews police also say Fallis had a scanner in his car, which is also illegal.
