Man shot on Saddlebrook Ct. dies, police release info on suspect

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – The man shot after answering the door at his apartment Monday morning has died and Louisville Metro Police have named a suspect in his murder. 

According to LMPD, Darrell W. Jackson, 18, is wanted in connection with the shooting at 4904 Saddlebrook Court that around 11:30 a.m. 

Dwight Mitchell, a LMPD spokesperson, said the victim died from his wounds on Monday night. The name of the victim has yet to be released by the Jefferson County Coroners Office. 

Metro Police ask anyone with information on the location of Jackson to call the crime tip line at 574-LMPD (5673).
