Franklin restaurant damaged by fire

FRANKLIN, TN (WSMV) -

A burger restaurant in Franklin is cleaning up after a grease fire.

The fire broke out around 8:30 p.m. at Backyard Burger on Center Point Place.

The blaze charred a drive-through window before firefighters put it out.

It's unclear if the restaurant will be closed for an extended period of time.
