Newport on the Levee will be celebrating American Heart Month with their 7th annual Wine Walk.
The walk will take place on Wednesday from 6-9 p.m. All proceeds from the event will benefit the American Heart Association's Go Red for Women.
Wine Walk attendees will visit several Levee venues to sample both red and white wine selections along with healthy and delicious hors d'oeuvres.
Participating venues include BRIO Tuscan Grille, Claddagh Irish Pub, GameWorks, Jefferson Hall, Mitchell's Fish Market, Naked Tchopstix, Star Lanes on the Levee and StoneBrook Winery.
Wine lovers are also encouraged to wear red at the event to show their support of the American Heart Association and American Heart Month.
The cost for the 2013 Wine Walk is $35 if you choose to pre-register of $40 the day of the event. Registrants must be 21 or older to participate and the first 300 registrants will receive a commemorative wine glass. All ticket purchases are non-refundable.
