JCPS bus involved in minor injury crash

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A loaded Jefferson County Public Schools bus has been involved in an accident.

MetroSafe says the accident happened at 4:08 p.m. at 10th and Hill Streets.

According to JCPS spokesperson Ben Jackey, bus 1188 was carrying 60 students from Cochran Elementary School at 500 W. Gaulbert Ave. and was hit by a truck.

The accident happened about six blocks from the school.

Jackey said one student was being checked by EMS for a minor injury.
