Reality Check: Are sequestration cuts as big as congress and White House are making them out to be?

Wednesday, the Pentagon informed Congress that if automatic spending cuts are allowed to take effect on March 1st, 800,000 workers will be furloughed.

And that is just the beginning.

But are these cuts as big as Congress and the White House are making them sound?
