Suspect in home burglaries remains hospitalized

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A man who crashed his car during a high-speed chase across several counties remains listed as stable at University Hospital.

Police in Scott County were looking for Terry Kinworthy when they got a tip that he was headed to the area.

The sheriff said they stopped him at a gas station off Interstate 65 south of Crothersville when he took off. The chase lasted 20 miles until he crashed in Jennings County.

Kinworthy is suspected in a string of home break-ins and faces a list of charges.
