Pedestrian hit while crossing Broadway

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A man is being treated for life-threatening injuries after he was hit by a car in the Smoketown neighborhood Thursday night

The accident was reported at 9:10 p.m. at the intersection of Broadway and Clay Street. Witnesses told Louisville Metro Police the man, who was wearing dark clothes, was crossing the street and was not in a crosswalk.

The driver of the car stopped and was being questioned by police, but investigators say it looks like there won't be any charges.
