NEW ALBANY, IN (WAVE) - Changes are on the way in New Albany regarding fundraising on city streets.
In an effort to prevent accidents, the New Albany City Council has given final approval to an ordinance that will ban collections at street intersections. The ordinance was passed by a 6-3 vote.
Charities like the Salvation Army are worried the ban will hurt their organization.
