LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Oscar buzz is in full swing and Jennifer Lawrence seems to be the center of it all. The 22-year-old is already a two time academy award nominee, once for her role in Winter's Bone and in 2013 for her role in Silver Lining's playbook – A movie she was sure her family members would love.
Cindy Miller, Lawrence's aunt explained, "I couldn't wait to see it because she knows me and she knew that this movie was just going to be something I was gonna love. Little did we know the whole world was going to love it."
And with that kind of love comes a hectic life.
Jennifer's mother Karen Lawrence, who spoke with us over the phone from Los Angeles said the star's life is, "It's crazy, her life is very busy right now."
But in all the hustle and bustle as Hollywood prepares to roll out the red carpet, Lawrence made sure to roll another piece into her biggest fans collection - an autographed Silver Linings Playbook poster.
You see, before she graced the front of magazines, the Covergirl was just a little girl with a big passion,
"She has a gift that we never even knew she had, I don't know where that came from," Miller explained.
But if she needs to trace back and find out – Andy Strunk has her covered. Starting from photos of the two neighborhood friends growing up together Andy has kept careful tabs on her career, opinions about the other leading men in her life and her fashion.
Even though he couldn't be there with her, Andy still plans to dress the part. He already picked out his tuxedo to wear while watching the awards.
And whether she takes home the golden statue in Los Angeles or not she has already won in the heart of her hometown.
