Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) February 25, 2013
Be Great Partners, a technology incubator/accelerator company, today announced its commitment to fostering a new tech industry in Los Angeles. Located in the historic Variety building at 5900 Wilshire Blvd., Los Angeles, CA, Be Great Partners has created over 50 jobs in Los Angeles since its official launch date in February, 2013. The company is laying a foundation for new business and long-term job growth in the technology sector.
"Los Angeles has tremendous potential to be the next Silicon Valley,'" said Kevin Yu, Vice President of Operations at Be Great Partners. "We're blazing the trail for a new tech industry here. We're going to continue creating jobs and bring more professional talent, entrepreneurs and investors to LA."
Be Great Partners has already made an impact on Los Angeles by introducing the highly successful consumer complaint website Scambook. To date, Scambook has resolved over $10 million in reported damages between consumers and businesses. The site is supported by the largest staff of dedicated complaint investigators in the industry.
The company is readying the launch of two other products currently in development and will begin taking outside applications later this year. They hope to work with the next Mayor of Los Angeles to bolster the city's economic and tech infrastructure.
Mayoral candidate Eric Garcetti told *The Los Angeles Times that LA was "recently rated as the third-best start-up culture in America. But we must ensure that these companies stay in Los Angeles." Be Great Partners agrees with Mr. Garcetti's statement.
Said Mr. Yu, "Be Great Partners is carving out a space for more tech companies in Los Angeles. We love the city and we know it can sustain a thriving professional workforce."
