Man killed in Highlands crash

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A single-vehicle accident Tuesday morning in the Highlands has claimed the life of a man.

The crash happened before dawn near the intersection of Cherokee Parkway and Willow Avenue.

Louisville Metro Police believe a man in his 20s lost control of a maroon Mercury Mountaineer and hit a tree.

The name of the crash victim has not been released.
