LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A tentative trial date has been set for the man accused of murdering a Sullivan University student and dumping his body.

During a pre-trial hearing Wednesday, Judge Mitch Perry set a date of July 9 for Gregory O'Bryan.

Police say in 2010, O'Bryan killed Andrew Compton and then put his body in a dumpster. The body of Compton, 18, has never been found.

The new prosecutor appointed last month for the murder trial doesn't foresee any reason for delaying O'Bryan's trial.
