Bank robberies believed to be connected

ELIZABETHTOWN, KY (WAVE) – Kentucky State Police say the same man robbed two different banks and they have the pictures to prove it.

Detectives say the same person is seen in surveillance photos taken of a bank robbery suspect from the Cecilian Bank in Sonora and the Bank of Buffalo in Buffalo, KY last month.

They believe the man, who a witness told police he has dirty blonde hair and facial hair, has been casing the banks beforehand.
