U.S. Marshals catch accused serial burglar

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A man accused of being a serial burglar was arrested by United States Marshals.

Christopher Palmer Junior is the main suspect in a number of burglaries in the Audubon Park neighborhood where more than $70,000 in jewelry was stolen.

Authorities said the feds found Palmer hiding in his father's basement on Garland Avenue.

Investigators said they recovered some of the stolen items from pawn shops.

Palmer's attorney asked for DNA testing on the items in court on Friday morning.

Palmer is being held on a $25,000 full cash bond. He is due back in court April 4.
