FRANKFORT, KY (WAVE) - A bill meant to protect the health of children at school in the Bluegrass has successfully been passed by members of the Kentucky House of Representatives.

House Bill 172 would require all schools to keep epinephrine auto-injectors, or EpiPens, on campus and they would have an emergency action plan in place in case a of severe allergic reactions.

The Bill now goes to the Kentucky Senate. If passed there it will only need Gov. Beshear's signature to become law.
