Two accidents slow traffic on I-65 near Elizabethtown

ELIZABETHTOWN, KY (WAVE) --Two accidents near Elizabethtown have slowed traffic this morning.

The KSP Elizabethtown post, said traffic was shut down after a multi-car accident accident around 7 a.m. Saturday on I-65 southbound, near the 91 mile marker. Around 11 a.m., State Police closed I-65 northbound near the 85 mile marker because of another accident that resulted in a car on fire and reported rescue.

Northbound I-65 will be closed for an undetermined amount of time.
