Severe weather warning system to be tested Tuesday

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Get ready to hear tornado sirens!

At 10:07 a.m. Tuesday, March 5, the National Weather Service and the Kentucky Broadcasters Association will issue a test of severe weather warning systems.

Weather radios and sirens will be activated. Schools are encouraged to use the drill to practice moving students to a safe location.

WAVE 3 will have a ticker at the bottom of your screen during the test, but remember, it is only a drill.
