Louisville Zoo to charge for parking

LOUISVILE, KY (WAVE) - A big change is coming to the Louisville Zoo.

On March 16, zoo patrons will have to pay $5 to park.

If you have a membership, parking will be included and membership prices are not expected to rise.

The zoo has never charged for parking, but expects to raise $500,000 a year from parking fees.

They said all the fees will go toward maintenance.
