Crews have been called to a fire in Anderson Township.
The fire broke out shortly after 5 p.m. on Tuesday. According to dispatch, the fire occurred inside of a two-story detached garage located at 1002 Pamela Avenue. Firefighters were able to contain the flames to the garage and surrounding homes were not affected.
The garage is considered to be a total loss. Owners say that a car along with equipment were inside of the garage at the time of the fire.
Crews were forced to battle the flames from outside of the building due to a large propane tank being housed inside as well. The tank did not explode and no injuries were reported.
There is no word on the cause of the fire or the estimate on damages.
