CLARKSVILLE, IN (WAVE) – Visitation was held on Tuesday for a murdered Clarksville teenager.

Police said Tara Willenborg, 17, was raped and strangled by Richard Hooten, 49, over the weekend. The two lived in the same apartment building.

Willenborg's fiance found her nude body inside their apartment early Saturday morning. The 911 call he made after the grisly discovery was released on Tuesday.

"Uh, my girlfriend is raped, and I think she's dead," the fiance told a 911 operator who asked whether Willenborg was breathing. "No, she ain't," the fiance said.

Willenborg's funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at St. Luke's United Church of Christ.

Hooten remained lodged in the Clark County Jail.
