Woman accused of murdering boyfriend with tire iron considers plea deal

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A Louisville woman accused of using a tire iron to beat to death her boyfriend could avoid a trial. A plea deal is in the works.

Sybil Sayles is charged with murdering Fafter Harrison Edwards Jr. He was found dead inside his West Buechel apartment in November 2011.

The judge says Sayles must make a decision concerning a plea deal before her next court appearance.
