FLORENCE, KY (WAVE) - A grand jury indicted three northern Kentucky residents in a dismemberment killing.
Jeffrey Allen and Stephen Harkness of Verona, along with Anthony Baumgartner of Florence, are charged with murder, kidnapping, abuse of a corpse and tampering with physical evidence in the January death of Daniel Delfin, 19, in a Verona field.
Investigators said Delfin was beaten and strangled before he was dismembered.
A deputy said the defendants told investigators they were trying to rid the world of evil.
Delfin was on parole for a heroin selling conviction.
