Indiana BMW accused of charging drivers too much

Indiana drivers may be paying too much for new or renewed licenses.

A lawsuit filed today in Marion County claims the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles is charging drivers under the age of 75 between four and seven dollars more for licenses than state law allows.

That could be tens of millions of dollars in excess fees. They're asking for class action status.

A BMV spokesman says he won't comment until he sees the complaint.
