CLARKSVILLE, IN (WAVE) – A man who was found shot to death in a Clark County
home has been identified.
According to Clarksville police, Steven Baldwin, 47, was found lying
unresponsive on the dining room floor of his home in the 2300 block of Plum
Woods Drive on Monday.
Baldwin's wife said someone forced their way into the home. She said her
brother, who also lives at the home, came home just before noon and found Baldwin
dead with a single gunshot wound. Police believe the shooting happened sometime
between 9:45 a.m. and noon on Monday.
Baldwin's wife said he was in the medical insurance business. They had moved
to their Clark County home seven years ago. The couple had been married eight
years.
Clarksville police said family members are not considered suspects at this
time.
Neighbors hope police make an arrest soon. "We're
just hoping soon that we'll hear something to let us rest easier," said
neighbor Teresa Messina.
The investigation into Baldwin's death is ongoing. Anyone with information
