Trooper: Man had 23 pounds of pot in car

CLARK COUNTY KY (WAVE) - A traffic stop landed a driver in jail after he was allegedly carrying pounds of pot in his car.

A state trooper stopped the driver for speeding on Kentucky Interstate 75 and said he smelled marijuana as he approached the car. When he searched the vehicle he found 23 pounds wrapped up into bricks and stuffed into plastic bags.

The driver, Jordan Robinson is now facing a traffic ticket for speeding and a criminal charge of drug trafficking.
