Jury seated in child molestation trial

CLARK COUNTY, IN (WAVE) - A jury was seated Tuesday in the trial of a southern Indiana woman accused of molesting a boy.

Juanita Fisher originally accepted a plea deal from prosecutors in Clark County. But when it was time for her sentencing, Charlestown Police said Fisher cut off her ankle monitor and took off for several days. She later turned herself in, but prosecutors withdrew the plea deal.

Opening statements in her trial got underway Tuesday afternoon.
