Father, 3 children injured in J'town crash

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Three children and their father were injured in a wreck in Jeffersontown Tuesday night.

The accident happened around 8 p.m. Tuesday on Old Six Mile Lane near Jeffersontown High School.

Police said the family's black SUV ran off the road and slammed into a telephone pole, breaking it in half and trapping the driver and his three children inside the vehicle.

All four of them were taken to hospitals. There was no immediate word on the extent of their injuries.
