Hit and run victim dies from injuries, police searching for suspect

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A man who was struck in a hit and run has died from his injuries.

Deputy Coroner Eddie Robinson confirmed Kristopher Caudill died at 8:14 Wednesday morning from multiple blunt force injuries.

Caudill was hit around 9 p.m. Tuesday on Bardstown Road in Fern Creek, not far from Fern Creek High School.

Police said a dark Ford pickup hit Caudill and that the truck may have front end damage.

Anyone with information in the case is asked to call police at (502) 574-LMPD.
