House fire kills 3 family members

WAYNE COUNTY, KY (WAVE) - Three members of a southern Kentucky family died after a home caught fire.

The fire broke out Thursday night in a home in Wayne County.

The coroner said Douglas Walker, 53, died at the scene. Melvina Walker, 60, and the Walker's grandson Jamie Elliott, 3, died at an area hospital. A fourth person escaped the fire.

Investigators believe the fire started in the bathroom.
