NEW ALBANY, IN (WAVE) – Two children found dead along with their mother in a New Albany creek on Wednesday drowned, according to Floyd County Prosecutor Keith Henderson. The mother's cause of death was not released.
During a Friday afternoon news conference, Henderson said the bodies of Jamie Clutter, 35, her son Brandon Clutter, 10, and her 6-month-old daughter Katelyn Clutter were unclothed when they were found around 5:20 p.m. Wednesday in Falling Run Creek, which runs through Binford Park.
Henderson said a bible was found near the creek along with a harness to carry a baby.
Jaimie's husband, Mike Clutter, is cooperating with investigators, Henderson said.
Henderson also said no notes were left behind and all possible motives are being examined.
According to the County Prosecutor, there is no reason to believe a suspect is on the loose posing a threat to the public.
