Man arrested after robbery at gun supply store

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Louisville Metro Police have arrested a man accused of stealing ammunition and several guns.

The thefts happened at Shooter's Supply Store on Vine Crest Avenue in Lyndon.

Investigators also say over the course of three months, George Horton Jr. and a 17-year-old suspect stole 48 guns from several area businesses.

Officers said they arrested the pair while the two tried to sell some of the stolen weapons in Indiana.
