WEST POINT, KY (WAVE) – It's the
million dollar question that has people in one Hardin County community talking: Who bought the
lucky lottery ticket worth $1 million.
Someone purchased a Powerball ticket
in West Point that matched five of the six numbers in Wednesday night's
drawing.
So far, the winner has not come
forward. The worker who sold the ticket hopes the winner is someone who needs
the money.
"Most of the people here are working
class, and I'm sure if it was any one of them, they're going to benefit," said West
Point BP Manager Angie Allen. "I'm just ecstatic that we got to help."
The winning numbers from the Powerball
drawing held on Wednesday, March 13 are 5, 9, 28, 32, 38. The Powerball number
is 29.
